“We are going to support start up and small enterprises in Embu facilitating them in value addition and accessing market for their products,” Wambora noted.

He encouraged the youths to avoid idleness and be innovative and come up with start up businesses for his government is ready to support them.

He applauded the Cleo Enterprise which deals with natural soaps and cosmetics for setting example for young people that innovation is the way to go.

Mwalimu Kiragu, Director Cleo Nature Enterprise said they are going to continue partnering with the county government for marketing of their products and job creation for the youths.

“We appreciate the support that we have been accorded by Regional Kenya Industrial Estate office and we are looking forward in paying back through expanding our business and employing more youths and availing more products in the market,” Kiragu observed.

He said their products are free from chemicals which normally when they get into the skin they causes negative effects.

Kiragu said the business is now one and half year old and its products are available in local market in Embu and are anticipating soon they will be going to other counties and outside the country.

He further added that they are in the process of purchasing a Sh 1.2 Million machine that will be used in compressing the soaps into various shapes and for logo stamping.

Kombo Nyaga, The Enterprise Head of sales and distribution, said their products are cheap and affordable compared to other related products in the market.
