Nandi County Commissioner, Caroline Nzwili, has issued a stern warning to anyone planning to perpetrate fraud and other malpractices during the upcoming national examinations exercise.
Speaking during the Mashujaa Day celebrations at Lessos primary in Nandi East Sub County, Nandi County, Nzwili stated that security agencies are on high alert to detect any exam cheating and assured residents that no leaks have occurred, urging them not to trust fraudsters.
“Teachers prepared candidates well, because last year there were malpractice cases, thus security agents have put strict measures to detect exam theft, and no leaks have occurred.,” pointed the commissioner, wishing candidates all the best in the entire examination period.
She urged centre managers to conduct their work with credibility and warned that anyone attempting to cheat by opening papers before exam time will face consequences.
Furthermore, the administrator confirmed that all examinations had been availed in all the examination containers within the County affirming that the exam stakeholders were ready to administer the exams.
“The exams are now in the examination containers across the County, and our examination teams are prepared to administer the national exams,” observed Nzwili.
This year there will be three levels of national examinations namely Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA) and Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA).
KCSE examinations will commence today while KPSEA and KJSEA are set to commence on 27th of this month.
