Christmas came early for five lucky Kenyans who won the SportPesa Midweek Jackpot, each pocketing an impressive Sh6,669,463 after correctly predicting all 13 matches.
The winners, drawn from Meru, Western Kenya, Kikuyu, Donholm, and Pipeline, shared a total jackpot prize of Sh33 million, continuing what is fast becoming a December tradition of big wins.
Last December, a woman from Nanyuki scooped Sh50 million, and this festive season has once again brought life-changing rewards.
Speaking after the win, Mr. Samwel Nganga, one of the jackpot winners, could not hide his excitement.
Nganga, a regular SportPesa player, revealed that his previous highest win was just Sh6,000, making this jackpot a dream come true.
“I have been winning with SportPesa, but mostly small amounts. This win has completely transformed my life. I will share it with my wife and children. Who would have thought someone like me would win over six million?” he said.
Nganga added that discipline and consistency had kept him in the game.
“I usually set aside Sh 200 every week for both the Midweek and Mega Jackpot. I always believed that one day it would be me,” he noted.
With his newfound fortune, Nganga plans to improve his living standards, invest more in his business, and enjoy a memorable Christmas with his family.
“Christmas this year has come with many blessings, and my children will truly get to enjoy it,” he added.
He also encouraged other players not to lose hope, emphasising that belief and consistency are key, even as he looks forward to participating in future Midweek Jackpot draws.
