The inspired Harambee Stars would later hold the Sable Antelopes of Angola to a 1-1 draw despite playing with 10-men after Marvin Nabwire got a red card.

The magic boy, Austin Odhiambo, was the man of the match in both games for Kenya.

Having won their match against DR Congo and bagging a draw with Angola, Kenya tops the Group ‘A’ table with four points.

On Sunday, Harambee Stars is scheduled to face a sleek Morocco side in a battle that is expected to be thrilling at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, at 3pm.

Kenya now leads group “A” with 4 points, followed by Morocco with 3 points and Angola with 1 point. Zambia trails with zero points.

The stars under the Head Coach Benni McCarthy have received overwhelming support from thousands of fans who have been flocking to the stands in Kasarani to cheer the national team to victory.

Kenya qualified for Pamoja CHAN 2024 as one of the three co-hosting nations, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, marking their historic debut in the competition.

The national team is determined to make a strong statement on home turf and showcase its progress on the continental stage.
