Makueni County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for ICT, Education and Internship Japheth Mang’oka has commissioned two classrooms at Kyandumbi Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) centre in Kee Ward with a view to improving the learning environment for the minors.
The county government has also embarked on the construction of modern facilities to provide a safe, child-friendly, and stimulating condition to the young learners besides giving them the strong foundation that they need.
“We intend to improve the learning environment for the young children by constructing modern classrooms,” said Mang’oka while commissioning the classrooms on behalf of Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr at the Kyandumbi ECDE centre.
“The government of Governor Mutula is committed to expanding access to quality ECDE across all Wards,” he added.
Present at the function was the area MCA Urbanus Manzu, ICT, Education and Internship Chief Officer (CO) Irene Makau and her counterparts for Health and Devolution, Dr. Harvey Mulei and Daniel Ndolo respectively.
