A new huduma centre is set to open in Molo Sub-County this year, bringing public services closer to thousands of people living in Molo, Kuresoi South, Kuresoi North, and Njoro constituencies.
Huduma Centre Nakuru Manager, Michael Otieno, confirmed the project is part of the Kenya’s visionary plan to establish 290 huduma centres countrywide.
“No Kenyan should travel long distances for essential services,” he declared.
The Molo centre will offer services like KRA PIN registration, identification card registration and renewal, NSSF registration, and insurance services.
It is set to be equipped with digital systems to ensure fast and efficient service delivery as well as qualified staff to man the respective booths.
To reduce delays, the centre will integrate services in one location, use digital queues, and collect feedback through online platforms and help desks thereby enabling the government to serve residents efficiently.
Residents are hopeful the new centre will ease their struggles and improve access to government services in their daily lives
