Osotsi said he had recently had a working tour to Russia and was embraced by the willingness of the host to collaborate with Vihiga County for mutual benefit.

He stated that partnership will pave the way for financial support for the implementation of projects in water, health, sanitation, research and waste management, among others.

On his part, Governor Dr. Wilber Ottichilo welcomed the new-found partnership and assured the envoy of his desire to strengthen the bond.

He asserted that the county is ready to nurture the ties with the Russian Federation, as doing so would enable it to complete critical projects, hence boosting service delivery to residents.
