Shabana FC lose 3-1 at home to Nairobi United

Shabana FC suffered a second defeat in a row at home after falling 3-1 to Nairobi United at Gusii Stadium on Sunday.

The football match started at a fast pace with the visitors taking the lead when Dancan Omala found the back of the net in the 21st minute.

The visitors doubled their lead in the dying minutes of the first half through Michael Karamor.

Nairobi United, popularly known as Naibois, came out energised in the second half.

Soon after the restart, Omala bagged his brace in the 58th minute to seal the win.

Brian Michira, who returned to Shabana’s squad after a long injury break, scored the team’s consolation goal from the penalty spot in added time.

The defeat leaves Shabana FC in 5th place in the FKF Premier League table with 23 points.
