Tindi Mwale hails Governor Barasa for completion of Butere hospital

Butere MP Tindi Mwale has hailed Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa for the completion of a modern level 4 hospital in the area.

He described the project as a landmark development that will revolutionise healthcare in the constituency and uplift the wellbeing of the residents.

Mwale said Governor Barasa had demonstrated genuine concern for the people of Butere, particularly women and children by fast-tracking the completion of the hospital and ensuring it meets high service standards.

He noted that the new facility will ease pressure on existing health centres and provide expanded services in maternal health, diagnostic care and outpatient treatment.

“Governor Barasa has demonstrated beyond reasonable doubt that he has the interest of Butere residents at heart,” said Mwale.

The legislator added that the hospital will greatly improve access to healthcare and reduce referrals to Kakamega and other distant hospitals.

Mwale said the modern facility represents progress not just for Butere, but for the entire county.

He also revealed that plans are at an advanced stage to establish a Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) in Butere.

The initiative, he said, is being championed by the Butere NG-CDF in close collaboration with the National and County governments.

Mwale while speaking Tuesday in the area said the partnership between leaders will continue to deliver transformative projects for the people of Butere.
