Khwisero MP, Christopher Aseka, today engaged residents of Mundaha Sub-location in Kisa East Ward to discuss key development priorities and the upcoming by-election in the area.
The meeting provided a platform for residents to share their concerns and for the MP to outline his vision for inclusive, community-driven development plan.
Aseka emphasised that projects in Khwisero must reflect the real needs and aspirations of the local people.
“Development should improve daily life and respond to the priorities of the community,” he declared.
He also highlighted the importance of residents making informed choices in the by-elections, noting that effective leadership is crucial for sustaining economic progress.
He was accompanied by Joel Ongoro Otwoma, who is a candidate vying for Kisa East MCA seat.
Ongoro pledged to collaborate closely with both the MP and the community to advance the ward’s development agenda.
“Working together ensures that initiatives are practical and impactful,” Ongoro said.
Residents welcomed the engagement, pointing out that such meetings provide a chance to influence projects and policies that affect their daily lives.
Many residents praised the leaders for prioritizing transparency and accountability in planning and implementation.
The session forms part of Aseka’s broader approach to community-centered governance, which aims to ensure that growth in Khwisero is participatory and responsive.
Aseka said by engaging directly with residents, he seeks to strengthen trust and ensure that development initiatives reflect the people’s aspirations.
