A form one student at Kibos School for the blind risks dropping out of school if he fails to pay the requisite school fees.
Daniel Otieno who is living with albinism, is expected to join Kibos School for the blind, but his family cannot raise the money needed for admission.
Daniel sat for Kenya Certificate of Primary Education in 2023 and later got admitted to a neighbouring School but has not been able to continue due to severe visual challenges.
His mother Irene Anyango is a single mother after losing her husband two years ago. She has four other children to take care of.
They are now calling on well-wishers to come to their rescue and ensure Daniel gets to school and achieve his academic dreams.
