The governor said her administration in collaboration with the Council of Governors had put all preparations in place to host the devolution conference.

“Everything is in place for the devolution conference. This is going to be a conference of inclusivity for all people,” Wanga said.

Ndeti said the devolution conference was bigger and better than the ones that preceded it.

“What we have seen in Homa Bay is impressive. Let us continue supporting this county government,” Ndeti said.

The Elgeyo Marakwet County Boss Wesley Rotich said the conference is going to include young people.

“There is a feeling that young people are excluded from governance activities. This time they are going to be included,” Rotich said.
