DP raise funds for women as he rallies support for Dr. Oburu Odinga

Deputy President, Prof. Kithure Kindiki, has helped raise Sh35 million for women empowerment programmes in a successful fundraiser held Friday at Sikri T.T.I in Homa Bay County.

The DP termed women as the pillar of families and community at large. “We have come here not to talk so much, but just to empower women,” Prof Kindiki said.

He declared his steadfast support for women empowerment saying that women through their small businesses support their families robustly by providing food, educating children and spend their money prudently to secure the future of their families in general.

The deputy president assured Kenyans that the focus of the broad-based government is champion development in all corners of the country and empower citizens by putting aside retrogressive politics.

During the occasion the DP urged politicians who want to engage in politics to hold their horses and wait for 2027.

He said President William Ruto, and the broad-based government has set aside money to revive all the road projects that stalled six to seven years ago for them to be completed and pave way for construction of new roads.
