Rachuonyo East sub county deputy county commissioner (DCC) Job Kemey has called for unity among all head of departments for easier coordination and delivery of services to the people.
Kemey said service delivery to the citizenry is only effective when all government officials work together in harmony.
“We all depend on one another to deliver on our mandate to the people,” he said.
The DCC, speaking during service delivery meeting that comprised of local heads of department drawn from both the national and county government lauded the cordial relationship between the two entities.
Kemey said the chiefs and their assistants have been a key cog across the country during mobilization and sensitization on key government development initiatives.
He urged the administrators to double their effort, even as government roles out various initiatives geared towards the Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda(BETA).
At the same time, the DCC called on the departmental heads to work closely with the local elected leaders for faster development in the area.
He said such collaborative efforts will ensure 100 per cent transition of learners into schools, end Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and any other problem in the community where they serve.
