Vihiga governor Dr. Wilber Ottichilo has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to providing a conducive and high-quality learning environment for young learners across the county.
Speaking during the commissioning of Magaka Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) centre in Central Maragoli Ward, Vihiga Sub-county, Dr. Ottichilo emphasized the importance of equipping children with child-friendly facilities to enhance their early learning experience.
He was accompanied by Deputy Governor Wilberforce Kitiezo.
Through the Department of Education, Science, Technical and Vocational Training, the county government has so far constructed 262 ECDE classrooms in the region, aimed at improving access to quality education at the foundational level.
