Khwisero MP Christopher Aseka on Tuesday hosted the Kakamega County Caucus of MPs at Shirotsa Catholic Church grounds in Kisa West Ward.
The meeting brought together legislators to review and monitor national government projects being implemented across the county.
In Khwisero, flagship projects include the Khwisero Level IV Hospital, Ekambuli Health centre maternity wing and the Sh200 million Last-Mile electricity connectivity project.
Also on the list are the tarmacking of Khwisero–Eshibinga and Dudi–Manyulia roads, Khwisero ESP Market, a 340-bed hostel at Khwisero TVC and a 220-unit Affordable Housing Project.
Other initiatives underway are the Jitume ICT Hub with 100 computers, a mechanical workshop at Khwisero TVC and the installation of streetlights at Manyulia Market.
“We are determined to ensure these projects are completed on time and benefit our people as intended,” Aseka said after the meeting.
The MPs also thanked President William Ruto for supporting Kakamega’s development agenda.
