Kiambu County ECDE Centres Shine at National Music Festivals in Meru

Kiambu County Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) centres have achieved outstanding results at the National Music Festivals held in Meru, with multiple institutions securing top positions across various categories.

Kikuyu Township ECDE emerged as the undisputed champion in the 2119 Set Verse category, securing the prestigious first position with a flawless performance that captivated both judges and audiences at the national competition.

The exceptional performance by Kikuyu Township has earned them a coveted spot at the State House Gala, where they will showcase their beautiful and creative presentation to a distinguished audience.

Githunguri Township also delivered an impressive performance, earning a commendable second position in the same Set Verse category with their skillful and creative presentation, demonstrating the high standard of talent across Kiambu County ECDE centres.

Mary Immaculate ECDE showcased remarkable versatility by excelling in multiple categories, clinching fifth position in Class 101 Solo and securing fourth position in Class 130 Set Piece, demonstrating artistic excellence and adaptability across different performance formats.

Queen of Rosary proudly represented the county in Class 1001 Singing Game, achieving seventh position with an energetic and engaging performance that highlighted the institution’s commitment to creative expression and musical education.

Fairlawns ECDE secured an impressive fifth position in Class 1113G, while Kidfarmaco delivered a strong showing in Class 157, attaining third position through dedication and teamwork that exemplified the county’s commitment to excellence in early childhood education.

Wambaa ECDE took tenth position in Class 2019, tying with Kikuyu Township, which also placed tenth in the same class, demonstrating the competitive spirit and widespread talent across the county’s educational institutions.

The remarkable results achieved by Kiambu County ECDE centres are a testament to the hard work, teamwork, and commitment of learners, teachers, and trainers across the county’s early childhood education system.

These achievements highlight the county’s investment in nurturing young talent and providing quality education that develops both academic and artistic capabilities from an early age.
