Nominated UDA senator spearheading grassroots registration initiative

United Democratic Alliance nominated Senator Consolata Wakwabubi, who has led a party recruitment and grassroots elections registration drive in Webuye, Bungoma County.

Speaking in Webuye town, Wakwabubi highlighted President Dr. William Ruto’s Manifesto Delivery Plan to educate party members on the value and essence of the upcoming UDA grassroots elections, taking place across the country.

“We emphasized that strong party structures at the grassroots are the foundation of effective leadership and sustained political success,” she said.

The senator added that grassroots elections will empower members to choose leaders who truly represent their aspirations and who will champion the UDA party’s agenda at every level.

She reminded members that Bungoma County played a decisive role in President Ruto’s victory in the last general election.

Wakwabubi added that safeguarding and strengthening support through continuous engagement, unity, and informed participation is critical as we prepare for Ruto’s re-election.

“Keeping party members informed ensures that the gains made under the Kenya Kwanza administration are protected and that the development agenda for Bungoma and the wider Western region remains on course,” she said.

The senator added that a well-organized, informed, and united party is key to consolidating victory and delivering lasting transformation to the people.

During the function, Wakwabubi engaged UDA party members from Webuye East and Webuye West sub-counties in Webuye town.

She was accompanied by the Bungoma County UDA Office Administrator, Winston Wangamati.
