Vihiga Governor Dr Wilber Khasilwa Ottichilo has reiterated his administration’s commitment to strengthening healthcare services across the county through continuous equipping of facilities to ensure services remain accessible, affordable and available to all residents.
The governor made the remarks at Emuhaya Sub-County Hospital in Luanda during a staff motivation and award ceremony. He commended healthcare workers for their resilience, professionalism and dedication, noting that their efforts have played a significant role in improving service delivery and promoting a healthier community.
Dr Ottichilo urged the staff to maintain high standards of professionalism and teamwork as the county continues to advance key priorities in the health sector.
County health officials attending the ceremony echoed the governor’s sentiments, emphasising the importance of recognising and motivating staff to boost morale and enhance the quality of services offered in health facilities.
The event celebrated outstanding performance by healthcare workers, with certificates and tokens of appreciation awarded to staff who demonstrated exceptional service and contributed positively to patient welfare and overall hospital performance.
