Vihiga Governor Wilber Khasilwa Ottichilo on Thursday held his first consultative meeting of the year with the County Executive, setting a clear and focused agenda as his administration enters the final stretch of its second and final term.
The meeting, held at the new Governor’s Residence, focused on key priorities for the year, including a mid-term review of the Governor’s performance scorecard.
Governor Ottichilo reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to responsible governance, pledging to clear all pending bills and ensure that no county project stalls.
He emphasized the importance of accountability, continuity, and delivering tangible results for the people of Vihiga County as the administration works to consolidate gains made over the years.
The meeting brought together Deputy Governor Wilberforce Kitiezo, County Executive Committee Members, Chief Officers, Directors, and other senior county officials, underscoring a united leadership team focused on service delivery and development.
As the county moves forward, the Governor’s message was clear: the remaining period of his term will be dedicated to completing projects, strengthening systems, and leaving a lasting legacy of progress for Vihiga County.
