The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced that it will conduct selection interviews to fill the vacant positions of Registrar of Political Parties and Assistant Registrar of Political Parties on Monday, 11th August 2025 at the Commission House, Harambee Avenue, Nairobi.
The Commission will interview ten candidates for the position of Registrar of Political Parties and another ten for Assistant Registrar of Political Parties who were shortlisted from among a long list of applicants.
The interview schedule, including names, counties, and interview times, is available on the PSC website, www.publicservice.go.ke, and was also published in the print media on Thursday, 7th August 2025.
In a press statement, Browne Kutswa PSC Director of Public Communication noted that the commencement of the selection process follows the conclusion of the application period, which ran from 15th July to 5th August 2025, pursuant to Sections 33, 34, and 34A of the Political Parties Act, Cap 7D after the positions were advertised in the print media, radio, television stations and the Kenya Gazette.
The shortlisted candidates according to the Director, reflect regional diversity, gender equity, and inclusion of persons with disabilities, in line with the values of the Constitution and the Commission’s commitment to inclusivity in public appointments.
“All candidates are required to report at least 20 minutes before their scheduled interview time with original copies of their identity card, academic and professional certificates, and other documents outlined in the shortlisting notice,” directed Kutswa.
He reported that members of the public with credible information regarding the suitability of any of the shortlisted candidates had been advised to submit such information through sworn affidavits to the Commission or via email to registrarpp2025@publicservice.go.ke by close of business on Friday, 8th August 2025.
Meanwhile, the interviews will be livestreamed on the Commission’s official YouTube channel @psckenya and social media platforms Facebook, X and LinkedIn to enable the public to follow the exercise.
