The Samburu government has acquired and installed a new Computerized Tomography Scan (CT scan) machine at the county referral hospital to improve on diagnosis of a wide range of medical conditions.
Speaking after receiving the machine from Sunview Medipro Company, the county Chief Officer (CO) for Medical Services Josephat Lenguris said that the new machines’ imagery prowess will help doctors diagnose a wide range of diseases in any part of the human body.
He further noted that 11 medical officers including radiographers, biomedical engineers and radiologists have been trained to handle and operate the machine.
