Obore urged residents of Webuye and its environs who have lost any electronic items to avail themselves at the Webuye Police Station and identify them.

At the same time, the Sub-county Police Commander said that the suspect is believed to be working with a syndicate that has been breaking into residents’ shops and their homes and robbing them while waylaying and mugging some late in the evenings.

He warned that his officers are on alert and they won’t hesitate to take action on individuals engaging in criminal activities by robbing residents their hard earned sweat.

Obore called upon members of the public to feel free and share with police any information that will lead to more arrests assuring them that such information will be treated with confidentiality.

“We suspect that this man has also been buying stolen items from suspected thieves,” he added.
