Uasin Gishu upgrades roads to boost rural access

The County Administration of Uasin Gishu continues to advance the implementation of key road projects aimed at improving access to essential services and economic opportunities while reducing transportation costs.

Uasin Gishu County Executive Committee Member for Roads Dr. Abraham Serem and Chief Officer Geoffrey Tanui visited Karuna, Meibeki and Segero Barsombe Wards, expressing satisfaction with the completion and progress of several road projects.

County officials and Member of County Assembly James Serem inspected Kabomoi-Barsombe Road, where plans for a new box culvert are being developed to improve infrastructure and connectivity.

Residents, supported by MCA, praised Governor Bii’s administration for road projects that have improved trade, reduced transport costs, and improved access to essential services.
