Tarmacking works on the Maìì-nì to John Kagai Road in Ting’ang’a, Kiambu Town Constituency, have officially commenced.
Engineers are currently on site carrying out the initial leveling phase in preparation for tarmacking. The project also includes the installation of a proper drainage system to ensure durability and all-weather usability.
The road upgrade is being undertaken under the stewardship of area Member of Parliament Mr. Machua Waithaka.

The new tarmac road is expected to greatly improve transportation and stimulate business activities in Ting’ang’a and surrounding areas.
Residents are upbeat about the project: “This is the best thing to happen to Ting’ang’a since independence. The face of Ting’ang’a is being uplifted thanks to area MP Machua Waithaka,” said Kiragu.
Waithaka has prioritized infrastructure projects across Kiambu Town Constituency to drive economic growth and enhance residents’ standards of living. The Maìì-nì to John Kagai road forms part of these ongoing efforts to deliver better roads to enhance commerce and connectivity.
The MP and contractors have assured that works will progress promptly while maintaining high quality standards.
