Bright student appeals for help from well-wishers

A bright student from Leshau Boys High School in Nyandarua county who scored a mean grade of A in the 2025 KCSE examination is appealing for help from well-wishers to help in pursue university education.

Anthony Ng’ang’a from Warukira village in Shamata Ward scored an A of 83 marks landing him his dream faculty of Civil Engineering.

Ng’ang’a’s mother Rahab Wairimu and father Josepha Njui are peasant farmers who depend on menial jobs to eke a living.

The parents after hearing the brilliant performance of their son, broke into jubilations that also attracted neighbours who flocked their home to celebrate together.

However, the achievements may be short lived if Ng’ang’a, their fifth born of six children will not get funds to facilitate his university education.

Njui, the father disclosed that the son pursued his secondary school education by help of bursaries from Shamata ward MCA Reuben Gitau.

He is appealing to well-wishers to come to his support to enable him achieve his dreams.
