KUSNET national leaders re-elected unopposed

The Kenya Union of Special Needs Educators (KUSNET) has overwhelmingly reaffirmed its confidence in the current leadership after re-electing all it’s 13 national officials in an election that was held in Narok County Saturday.

Speaking after the re-election, the KUSNET General Secretary, James Torome thanked the members for this unanimous decision noting that this clearly reaffirms the union’s trust in the leadership team and vowed to continue addressing their concerns without fail.

Torome said that the team remains committed to diligently addressing member’s concerns and called upon them to work closely with the officials and ensure that their priorities are dealt with promptly.

The Union’s chairman, Amos Mungai Karanja also expressed gratitude to the members and pledged to continue to safeguarding their welfare concerns.

According to the returning officer, Rebecca Kosgey, the exercise took the shortest time possible; attributing the smooth exercise to member’s satisfaction with the current leadership in addressing their concerns.

The re-elected officials reaffirmed that they will continue to push for efficient service delivery to their members in a bid to help them improve their lives.
