The Governor reiterated the county government’s commitment to nurturing sporting talent through the development of sports infrastructure across the county.
He said the ongoing expansion of Gusii Stadium at a cost of Sh1 billion would provide improved facilities for athletes and learners.
The stadium is expected to support students enrolled under the Competency-Based Education pathway in Sports Science by providing practical learning facilities.
Arati said the county would continue investing in sports to create opportunities for young people to develop their talents and pursue careers in the sector.
