Bunyore residents get clean water after completion of Ebukholi Water Project

Residents of North East Bunyore Ward in Emuhaya Sub-county are celebrating improved access to clean and safe water, following the successful completion of the Ebukholi Water Project.

The project now provides a reliable water supply to 115 households, significantly improving living standards and public health in the area.

County Officers from the Department of Environment, Water, Energy, Natural Resources and Climate Change, led by the County Executive Committee Member (CECM), Dr Jairus Amayi, together with the area Member of County Assembly (MCA), Aineah Hellam Esipirah, conducted the final inspection of the project to evaluate its impact on the community.

Implemented by the Directorate of Climate Change under the Financing Locally-Led Climate Action (FLLoCA) Program, the Ebukholi Water Project is a key step toward strengthening climate resilience and ensuring sustainable access to water for local communities.

The initiative marks a major milestone in improving livelihoods and promoting climate-smart development in Emuhaya Sub-county.
