An afternoon fire has destroyed a boys’ dormitory at Enkasiti Comprehensive School in Kajiado East Constituency.
The 82-bed capacity dormitory was completely razed down, with the cause of the blaze yet to be established. No death or injuries were reported, and all students have been safely accounted for.
While assessing the extent of the damage, Kajiado East MP, Kakuta Ole Maimai committed to supporting efforts to rebuild the facility and restore normal learning at the institution as soon as possible.
The legislator also appealed to well-wishers to support the school by donating essential items to assist the school and affected students.
Additionally, he called on relevant government investigative agencies to conduct thorough investigations to establish the cause of the incident.
