Former Kenya Secondary School Heads Association chairman Kahi Indimuli has announced his intention to run for governor of Vihiga County in the 2027 elections.
Indimuli said he had a wealth of experience having served in the education sector for 38 years.
Speaking at Mbale Municipal Grounds during a homecoming ceremony, Indimuli said he had also served in various leadership positions and thus qualified to be the governor.
In a speech that resonated with the attendees, Indimuli, emphasized that his nearly four decades of experience in the education sector will enable him to guide the county towards speedy development.
Meanwhile, several local leaders and residents who attended the event praised his ‘visionary’ leadership promising to back him come 2027 General Election.
