Jubilee party reaffirms participation in Narok Polls

The Jubilee party has urged residents of Narok town ward to ignores rumours going round that the party will not field a candidate in the upcoming by election slated for the 27th November.

The party urged the residents disregard claims circulating to the effect that the party’s flag bearer, Joseph ole Kaputa had pulled out of the race and may not be in the ballot.

Speaking during his campaigns in Narok town, the Jubilee dismissed the allegations saying that such propaganda is aimed at tainting his image to ensure he loses the seat.

Highlighting his engagements with the community including issues on children welfare and other development initiatives, Kaputa assured the locals that he is in the race. He maintained that he still the right candidate for the MCA seat stating further that he will effectively deliver in the MCA position.

Jubilee party Secretary General (SG), Jeremiah Kioni who joined Kaputa on the campaign trail echoed similar sentiments saying that the rival political party is misleading the voters.

Kioni urged residents not to be swayed away by the misleading information but remain firm in their decision and come out in large numbers to vote in Kaputa on the 27th November who has the capability to drive the development agenda without fear or favour.

He also urged the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to ensure free and fair elections as the credibility of the results given will influence the confidence of the public ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The SG further emphasized on the need to curb election malpractices to ensure that the locals get the candidate of their choice.

The MCA seat was left vacant following the death of Lucas Ole Kudate. It has so far attracted five candidates, among them is Kudate’s son, Kanyinge Kudate vying under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party.
