Kabondo Kasipul NG-CDF issues sh1.5 million bursary

Kabondo Kasipul NG-CDF has issued cheques worth sh. 1.5 million to fund needy students joining secondary schools from the constituency

Mr Joshua Moth Aroko, the Kabondo Kasipul NG-CDF chair said 82 students had applied for bursary from the kitty but only 22 students qualified for the assistance for the financial year 2021/2022

The CDF chair who was speaking at Ramula, the Rachuonyo East sub county headquarter, said the exercise for identifying the neediest cases was free and fair

“Every year the NG-CDF sponsors such needy cases,” the CDF chairperson said during the issuance of cheques

He said since the beginning of the financial year NG-CDF has spent sh. 40 million for bursaries for student in various institutions.

Mr. Polycarp Ogutu the constituency office manager urged the students who benefitted from the bursary kitty to be disciplined in school and ensure they work hard in order to succeed in their studies.
