Kenya marks customer service week

Public Service Principal Secretary PS Amos Gathecha, who represented Public Service, Gender, and Affirmative Action CS Aisha Jumwa, during celebrations to mark this year’s Customer Service Week at the GPO Huduma Centre, Nairobi, on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.

Customer Service Week, which is celebrated worldwide, is aimed at recognising the importance of customer service and the employees who serve and support customers on a daily basis.

The event coincided with the commemoration of ten years since the GPO Huduma Centre was opened.

Fifty other centres have been opened across the country since 2013, making the delivery and access to government services efficient and transparent.

PS Gathecha said the centres have enabled Kenyans to get access to over 5000 government services, which are now available through the e-Citizen platform.
