The newly appointed Eldoret City Manager, Ms. Elzeba Busienei, officially assumed office on Thursday in a warm entry meeting with city staff, outlining a bold vision to make the city vibrant, livable, and attractive to both investors and residents.
Ms. Busienei emphasized the need for unity and cross-departmental collaboration, urging all staff to work together in realizing the city’s full potential.
She assured the team of her full support, promising to empower and equip them to deliver quality services with confidence and clarity.
To kick start strategic planning, she directed all section heads to submit detailed reports on their current status, challenges, and opportunities. These will inform targeted interventions and improve service delivery across departments.
She also thanked Governor Dr. Jonathan Bii for his visionary leadership under the Nguzo Kumi blueprint, affirming her commitment to the county’s transformation agenda.
Ms. Busienei was officially sworn in on Tuesday in a ceremony presided over by Hon. Justice Reuben Nyakundi and witnessed by Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii Chelilim, senior county officials, the Judiciary, and members of the public.
