NGAO Urged to Collaborate in Executing Their Duties

Nyanza Region Commissioner Ms Flora Mworoa has asked Nyamira National Government administrative officers (NGAO to ensure they collaborate harmoniously while executing their duties so as to make laudable achievements.

She commended the efforts made by NGAO to ensure that the County is relatively calm and no serious security incidents have been reported in the recent past.

“You need to work as a team to keep the security of the area, cooperate with each other to ensure that incidents of illicit brew and drugs which are harmful to people’s health at the same time a major contributor to our communities’ underdevelopment are totally eliminated,” she emphasized.

The Regional Commissioner further stated they will ensure that NGAO takes lead in implementing the President’s directive of planting trees during this rainy season.

She said chiefs and assistant chiefs will liaise with the forest department to plant and nurture 3000 trees per month in their locations and sub locations in a bid to boost the country’s forest cover and mitigate environmental effects of climate change.

“Farmers who registered for subsidized fertilizer should be patient because the government will keep its promise and ensure that all farmers who registered to access subsidized fertilizer in this region will definitely receive it, there is therefore no cause for alarm,” Mworoa noted.
