Residents of Elukala village in Mwibona Ward, Luanda Constituency Vihiga county are set to benefit from improved electricity access following the official launch of the Elukala power connectivity project under the Stima Mashinani programme.
The project, championed by Luanda MP Dick Maungu on Thursday in a ceremony also attended by area leaders including Hon. Onjiri David and Hon. Ombima Reuben.
The electrification drive is part of the broader I-See Agenda, which aims to enhance power distribution across Luanda constituency—village by village and house by house.
Maungu assured residents of the government’s unwavering commitment to expanding rural electrification.

Leaders and residents alike have hailed the initiative as a critical step towards improving residents’ living standards, boosting small businesses, and unlocking economic potential through reliable electricity access.
