The Government is determined to involve every Kenyan in the fight against corruption in both public and private institutions.
Speaking in Nandi County, the Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Felix Koskei appealed to all Kenyans not to accept to be compromised by corruption deals but report to the relevant authorities for action.
He said for this country to see fast development in all sectors the, corruption bust be fought from all fronts since it is a leading setback for progress.
“Let us refuse and let us condemn all forms of corruption so that this country can develop as fast as possible,” he said.
Koskei promised that the government was determined to transform this country for prosperity by strengthening all institutions that fights corruption.
“We are determined to change this country for good, we are not going to relent but we are going to make this country great by embracing all war fronts in fight against corruption,” Koskei told worshipers and leaders who attended thanksgiving ceremony of retired African Inland Church Bishop Patrice Chumba at AIC Church Kapsabet.
He said the government will continue creating awareness on dangers of corruption in the country using all forums available.
He pleaded with Kenyans to report all corruption deals happening so that we save the future of our next generation.
Koskei used the occasion to urge leaders against making inflammatory remarks that can plunge this country into chaos.
Addressing the same event, Interior and National Administration Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen warned young people and recently elected leaders not to follow leaders who can drive this country into turmoil.
Murkomen maintained that it was in order for the leaders who have contrary opinions leaders to push their agenda while observing the law limitations.
He said there was no leader above the law and anybody violating this provisions will not be tolerated.
“I want to urge all elected leaders to desist following leaders who can lead this country into chaos that when we come for the planners, we’ll also come for you,” he warned.
The CS however praised the Nandi County Commissioner Caroline Nzwili for successful war against illicit brew in the county.
He promised to visit Nandi County soon on security matters including strengthening National Government Administration Officers and other security organs in delivering their mandate.
The event was also attended by Nandi Deputy Governor Dr. Yulita Mitei, Nandi County Commissioner Caroline Nzwili among other religious, National and County Government leaders.
