Police in Kitengela, Kajiado county have arrested a 24-year-old woman after she allegedly stabbed her husband to death.
According to Isinya Sub-County Police Commander, Simon Lokitari, the suspect, Elizabeth Wanjiku Muthoni, stabbed her husband Peter Thuku,38 several times at their rental house at Panai Area, Kitengela on Sunday night.
The commander reports that the father in law by the name Reuben Thuku was the one who called the police after receiving a distress call from the suspect.
The wife and the neighbours tried to rush the deceased to hospital for treatment but he succumbed to injuries.
Investigations are ongoing to establish the motive behind the killing while the body of the deceased has been taken to the Kitengela Sub County Hospital Morgue.
