Learners at St. Stephen Mulwanda Secondary school have a reason to celebrate after Khwisero MP Christopher Aseka officially handed over a new school bus to the institution yesterday.
The bus, funded through the Khwisero NG-CDF marks another step forward in Aseka’s continued effort to strengthen education infrastructure in the area.
The legislator said the vehicle will greatly ease the school’s transportation challenge while boosting student participation in academic trips, inter- school competitions and co-curricular activities.
“We want to make learning exciting and accessible for every child in Khwisero. Our goal is to empower students with the right tools and opportunities to explore their potential,” he said.
He also revealed that two other institutions; Eshibinga and Ikomero secondary schools will receive their buses in the 2025/2026 fiscal year as part of ongoing investments in the education sector.
Parents, teachers and students who attended the handover ceremony praised the initiative saying it will motivate learners and strengthen the school’s performance both academically and socially.
