Khwisero MP Christopher Aseka has officially commissioned a newly completed storey tuition block at Elukanji Comprehensive School in Mundobelwa Sub-location, Kisa North Ward.
He said the project, constructed under the Khwisero NG-CDF, is set to ease classroom congestion and create a more conducive learning environment for learners.
Aseka said it forms part of his wider effort to expand education infrastructure across the constituency.
Speaking during the handover over the weekend, the MP said education remains at the centre of his development agenda.
“A conducive learning environment is key to unlocking our learners’ potential. With today’s commissioning, the number of storey tuition blocks completed and handed over under my patronage now stands at 21,” he said.
The MP said the move would uplift academic performance and boost morale among both students and staff.
The parents and teachers commended the MP noting that investment in infrastructure is critical to improving learning outcomes.
They said the block would also enhance safety and allow for more effective teaching.
Aseka assured residents that his office will continue to prioritize education projects, terming the sector the backbone of social and economic transformation in Khwisero.
He called on parents and the community to complement government efforts by supporting learners and encouraging them to take advantage of the improved facilities.
The MP has in recent years overseen the construction of multiple storey tuition blocks in schools across the constituency.
