Murang’a Seal on Sunday picked up an important 2-0 victory against Bidco United at the SportPesa Arena as the FKF Premier League season edges closer to conclusion.
Striker Joe Waithira stole the spotlight with a brilliant first-half brace, scoring in the 39th and 43rd minutes earning Murang’a Seal all three points.
The forward now has 19 league goals this season and was deservedly named Man of the Match after another clinical display of skill.
Both goals were created by Lucas Maina, whose creativity and precise deliveries proved vital in unlocking the Bidco defence.
The result sees Murang’a Seal climb to 8th position on the FKF Premier League table with 44 points, with just one match remaining before the curtain falls on the season.
Speaking after the match, the team’s Head Coach, Dennis Odhiambo, praised the team’s overall performance, lauded Waithira’s impact in attack and expressed confidence in the squad’s readiness heading into the final game of the campaign.
Murang’a Seal will face Mara Sugar on May 31, 2026, at the SportPesa Arena in Murang’a as they wrap up the season.
