Learners at Mutuya Primary School in Ruiru Constituency are set to benefit from improved learning facilities following the completion of two new classrooms constructed through the local National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF).
The classrooms have been completed and are ready for use, marking a major boost to the school’s infrastructure and providing learners with a more conducive environment for learning.
Speaking after the completion of the project, Ruiru MP Simon King’ara said the classrooms were part of his efforts to address infrastructure needs in schools and improve the quality of education in the constituency.
The MP said the completion of the classrooms would help ease pressure on existing learning facilities, ensuring that pupils had adequate and suitable spaces for their studies.
“We are committed to investing in education because it is the foundation for the future of our children. The completion of these two classrooms at Mutuya Primary School will provide learners with a better and more conducive environment to study,” Kingára said.
He added that the NG-CDF would continue supporting education projects across Ruiru Constituency, noting that modern and adequate learning facilities were essential in enhancing academic performance.
The MP said the government was keen on ensuring that learners in public schools had access to facilities that support effective teaching and learning, urging the school administration, teachers and the community to ensure the new classrooms were well maintained.
The classrooms are among education infrastructure projects being undertaken through the Ruiru NG-CDF to upgrade learning facilities and enhance access to quality education for students in the constituency.
