Odibets has unveiled Charles Odongo popularly known as the ‘Ugali man’ as its brand ambassador and has given him a boost of Sh5 million and a further Sh9, 000 for his cat and a car as part of Odi Mtaani talent development Initiative.

Speaking during the unveiling ceremony at a Nairobi hotel, Odibets Marketing Manager Aggrey Sayi said that since 2019 the organization has supported more than 40, 000 young people through its partnerships with the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) to progress their talents.

“We will be sponsoring the fastest man in Kenya Ferdinand Omanyala who qualified for the 2021 Olympics to go to Tokyo Japan to represent us,” said Sayi.

He added that Odibets has gone out of its way to better the lives of Kenyans through supporting women in small businesses through the Inua Mama Initiative.

“Our aim is to have impacted either directly or indirectly the lives of more than half a million young people by 2023,” remarked Sayi.

While giving his remarks Odibets General Manager Dedan Mungai confirmed that Odibets is committed to boost ugali man’s career as he is a fitness instructor as well as his family’s wellbeing.

“We believe that grassroots sports and talent development is one of the sustainable causes that stakeholders should invest in,” said Mungai.

The general manager noted that grassroots sports have the potential to meet the aspirations that most people have in life.

“We are looking at a scenario where unique talents are not only about competition and entertainment but also about potential and having competitive platforms that contribute to economic growth,” added the Manager.
