The Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) leader, Rigathi Gachagua has continued to drum up support for the party.
Gachagua maintains that the outfit has the interests of the people at heart and fully prepared to deliver a transformative leadership, once elected into office in the upcoming 2027 general election.
The former DP noted that leaders affiliated to the party were well acquitted to their role and will prioritize on issues of good governance, economic empowerment and equitable development; all in a bid to steer sustainable growth for the country.
He lashed out at those claiming that the party has members from one community saying that DCP is built on principles of inclusivity, accountability and service delivery to each and every Kenyan.
Gachagua spoke to residents at Melili ward in Narok North Sub-County during the homecoming party for Martin Ole Kamwaro, the party’s Deputy Secretary General (DSG), who is planning to run for parliamentary position in the upcoming general election.
On his part, Kamwaro said they were ready to embrace change through electing in visionary leaders, who were ready to involve the locals into finding lasting solutions to their issues of concern.
The DSG affirmed that the party belonged to all Kenyans irrespective of their tribe or religious affiliations and therefore those interested were welcomed on board to contribute their ideas, geared towards strengthening its structures and accelerating their agenda.
Gachagua was accompanied by the Kirinyaga women representative, Njeri Maina and Kajiado North legislator, Onesmus Ngogoyo among other leaders.
