Speaking during the exercise Saturday, KUPPET National Deputy Secretary-General, Moses Nthurima announced that the elections have officially begun in eight counties, with plans to continue in other counties the following day

Nthurima highlighted a historic development in the elections, noting that for the first time secondary school teachers were included as representatives, attracting candidates from far off regions to participate.

The successful election at Mbale boys reflects KUPPET’s continued commitment to democratic processes and inclusive representation for teachers across the country.
