Tindiret Member of Parliament Julius Melly has applauded the victories for the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party in the recently concluded by-elections, saying the results demonstrate a growing wave of confidence in the party’s leadership across the country.
Melly has said the outcomes reflected a people that is increasingly rallying behind development-oriented politics.
He singled out the win by Vincent Kiplimo in the Chemundu/Kapng’etuny Ward race as a significant milestone for the party and a reaffirmation of its influence on the local political landscape.
Melly explained that the by-election—held under what he termed calm, transparent, and competitive conditions—had provided an opportunity for the electorate to re-evaluate their priorities.
According to him, the people’s choice showed a deliberate shift toward leaders who demonstrate commitment to service delivery, integrity, and accountability.
He congratulated Kiplimo for what he called a well-deserved victory, noting that the new ward representative had run a vigorous campaign focused on addressing pressing community concerns.
