The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Returning officer for Malava Constituency, Salim Abdala Salim, has confirmed that the commission is ready to conduct the by-election set for tomorrow.
Speaking to the media, Salim said the constituency has over 94,000 registered voters with nine candidates battling out for the parliamentary seat.
Voters will cast their votes in 198 polling stations across the constituency.
He said the campaigns ended peacefully noting that the commission has not received any complaints from any candidate.
He assured all the candidates of a free, fair and credible election noting that any vote cast in favor of any candidate will count.
